Somewhere along the way, ambient music got a bad rep. Seemingly overnight, ambient became synonymous with boring. If ever there was a band to disprove that theory, it’s All the Day Holiday. Packing their songs with enough dreamy soundscapes to satisfy even the most stubborn indie snob, while simultaneously approaching each track with a buzzing, raw energy and passion – finding the things that make All the Day Holiday stand out among their peers isn’t hard. It’s finding words that do the band justice that proves to be the real challenge. To put it simply: All the Day Holiday are probably better than a lot of the bands on your playlist. It’s nothing personal, though – they’re better than a lot of the bands on mine, too.
